I haven't forgot about my blog I just have been really busy working, working and WORKING! For a couple weeks there we were working every weekend, 19 days in a row! Ugh if this is real life, I quit!
I am feeling a little burned out with working everyday but in a couple weeks Anokhi and I are heading to Beijing and I am SO excited!
Here is what has been happening the past month!
My co teachers gave me a Chinese name! It means "wanderer." Pretty cool! It's pronounced Chian Shun, but with more tones....
We celebrated Halloween! My K2 class helped paint this pumpkin!
My K3 kid's Halloween art!
My Co teacher, Leah, in her costume and all ready for our party!
Yew Wah- Ronke Campus! Can you spot the foreigners?
Anthony was a University of Michigan football player! Not many other people got it...
Anokhi and I were Minnie Mouse! (not many choices in China)
My K3 kids like to pretend to be me and read me books at the end of the day, it's pretty cute!
Chin Chin, Mandy, Gordon, and Zz!
Chin Chin! Aka Chinny Chin Chin!
Crystal having fun in K2!
Justin got a kitten! She is so cute! Her name is Chihiro!
Anokhi and I passed our 3 month mark in China! We celebrated by eating Mexican food, of course!
We celebrated Thanksgiving! We went to this restaurant called Grandma's Kitchen and treated ourself to whatever Western food we wanted! It was so fun!
mmmmmmm!
I showed my K3 class "A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving!" They were pretty cute!
Thankful for my cute kids!
Not so thankful for the bad pollution! It has been really bad the past couple weeks...And it is scary how much it effects us. I can feel my throat start to swell, fluid builds, harder to breathe, my eyes get sensitive, skin gets bad. You don't realize how nice the fresh air is until it's gone and then it's all you think about. The China Air Quality app has been the most used app on my phone lately! It's just another thing to be thankful for in America!
